Yes indeed, I do take commission requests!
With my work and teaching schedules, it can be a challenge to make time for commissions. But it certainly never hurts to inquire!
I really enjoy drawing classic characters, comic book cover recreations or “covers that never were.” I’m also fond of “cheesecake” pinups!
From single figures to entire compositions, I can do pencil sketches, fully inked drawings, or color marker compositions. There’s also another cool option: I can digitally color an inked drawing and create a separate, color print. Traditional or digital paintings are possibilities, but are also time consuming and a definitely more pricey!
If you’re interested in inquiring about a commission, use the request form to get in touch. I’ll respond as soon as possible and let you know if I’m available and answer any other questions you may have. Keep in mind that submitting the request form alone does not guarantee a commission. There is no obligation until I accept your commission and we agree on the subject matter, price, payment and shipping terms.
I reserve the right to limit or even suspend the request list if I become too busy. If I have a backlog, I’ll reopen the request list when I’m caught up.
So, if you’ve waded in this deep, feel free to take the plunge and fill out a request. For the curious or uninitiated, check out the Commissions Gallery for examples of some of my past commissions.
