This piece began as an homage challenge among an old, artists’ email group I was part of in the early 2000s. The idea was for artists to do a tribute to a Frazetta painting that had an impact on them. The sketch and early work for this piece sat as an unfinished file for years, until I finally finished it in early 2017.
