It can be very annoying, waiting impatiently for the next level to load up on a video game. One of the ways to soften the edge is to give the gamers something interesting to look at while they wait. That was the purpose of these load screen paintings. I did a few for both X-Men Legends games as well as Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.
